So Sorry: Daily Project

Welcome to my little part of blog world.  Winter is a favorite time of year for me, but I really hate when it gets so frigidly cold you can't stand to breathe outside.  We are going through this type of period now.  What better time to spend inside working on projects.
The project I'm sharing with you today is a sympathy card that I created for a friend just last week.  Not sure  if its just our area, or if its happening everywhere, but it seems like more and more people are passing away. I keep saying I'm going to make a lot of sympathy cards to have on stand-by, but I still never have them on hand when I need them.
I used pattern paper from the sweetheart line from Close to my Heart for the base of my 6x6 card.  I then cut out the different layers of my saying "sorry for your loss" at 2.53 from the cartridge Phrases, using white, black, smoothie, and tulip cardstock. I added rhinestone bling and a flower button to add the final touches.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and looking at my project.  I love feedback from visitors so please leave a comment.

  1. This is lovely. The colors and bling are a so pretty together.

  2. This is so very pretty! Love the papers, love the colors, love the bling and the phrase is great. :)

  3. Love your card, like the colors and the use of bling. I would have never thought to badd bling to a sympathy card, tfs.
