Happy Thursday

Welcome to my blog world today.  Hope everyone is having an awesome week!  Tomorrow is my last day so I'm pretty pumped.  Living in Kentucky the Derby is always a big deal.  This year at school we had a Derby hat and silks day.  I thought, "How cool would it be to make my Derby hat!"  So I used an old hat from my mom, put a new ribbon and bow on it then went to work adding the horses and roses.  The Derby, after all, is referred to as "the run for the roses."

I used two different ribbons from my stash to replace the old teddy bear ribbon.
I then used the cartridge Happily Ever After to cut the horses.  The horses are cut at 3.49"
I cut the horse from two different browns and then cut the tail and manes off of one.
I then used the cartridge Art Philosophy to cut the roses.  The roses are cut at 5.59" and 4.06"
Thanks for stopping by and viewing my project!  Have a great weekend and don't forget to join us on Monday for a new challenge!
