Daily Project: Many Thanks

Welcome to my blogland for this wonderful Friday eve!  Yes, I'm a teacher and I celebrate Friday eve each week.  I have several projects in the works to share at a later date, but the project I want to share with you for today is a simple thank you card.
The base of my card is 5.5 x 4.25 and I covered it with a piece of patterned paper from the Lucy paper line from CTMH.  I put a 2" strip of cotton candy across the top and then tied a piece of sweet leaf ribbon across the cardstock.
Using the Phrases cartridge I cut the phrase "many thanks" at 2.06" using hollyhock, cotton candy, and sweet  leaf cardstock.  All products are sold by CTMH.
Thanks you for allowing me to share my project with you today, and may you be blessed with time to craft today!

So Sorry: Daily Project

Welcome to my little part of blog world.  Winter is a favorite time of year for me, but I really hate when it gets so frigidly cold you can't stand to breathe outside.  We are going through this type of period now.  What better time to spend inside working on projects.
The project I'm sharing with you today is a sympathy card that I created for a friend just last week.  Not sure  if its just our area, or if its happening everywhere, but it seems like more and more people are passing away. I keep saying I'm going to make a lot of sympathy cards to have on stand-by, but I still never have them on hand when I need them.
I used pattern paper from the sweetheart line from Close to my Heart for the base of my 6x6 card.  I then cut out the different layers of my saying "sorry for your loss" at 2.53 from the cartridge Phrases, using white, black, smoothie, and tulip cardstock. I added rhinestone bling and a flower button to add the final touches.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and looking at my project.  I love feedback from visitors so please leave a comment.
