daily project for 9/19

Welcome all to my small portion of blog world.  For today's daily project I made another picture this one for a friend's daughter who has a birthday coming up.
Cartridges and cuts
Sweet treats:  cupcakes, cut at 3.0"
Cindy Loo, flourish, cut at 2.0"
George and Basic Shapes:  rectangle cut at .5x6"

The cake stand was created using the Gypsy.  I used two images of the Cindy Loo flourish with one of them flipped.  I then added the rectangle and welded the 3 images together.

Back to School Challenge

Welcome to another challenge at Exploring Cricut.  The theme for this week is Back to School using at least 1 ribbon.  For my project I made a sign for my door at school.

Cartridges and Cuts:
Learning Curve:  Welcome back, cut at 2.53" and welded together using the Gypsy
Makin the Grade:  apple, cut at 6.88"  I actually cut 3 of these and layered them for the different colors.
Smiley Cards:  pencil, cut at 3.47"
Happily Ever After:  scissors, cut at 3.5"

I then used many different red ribbons to cover the apple.
For finishing touches I used liquid glass for the "metal" pieces.
Thanks for stopping by.  Don't forget to post your entry on the Exploring Cricut site.

daily project

Welcome all to my little blog world.  I have the project for today at Exploring Cricut.

For today I chose to create a canvas picture for a friend's son.
I cut freehand the mountain.
Cartridges and cuts:
Paper Doll Dress Up
     , Acc 3, cut at 1.5"
      cut at 2.5"
      cut at 2.5"
     , Acc 2, cut at 3.0"
     , Headwear, cut at 2.5"
     , blackout, cut at 2.5"

I used a stamp set from Peachy Keen to stamp the face and used copic markers to color the face and hands.
