One More For Tonight!

One of my bffs (yes those over 40 can have bffs also) is expecting a new bundle of joy towards the end of November. Kristal (another bff) and I decided to throw her a baby shower. I created these cute gift bags for the prizes. I don't get to do many things for babies so I had fun creating these!!

Can I really do this?

Believe it or not I have another post and it hasn't been six months yet! I could do this more often if life didn't get in the way!

The last few weeks I've been busy getting things ready for a Close To My Heart party and a baby shower for one of my bffs. People over 40 can have bffs too!!!! These are the party favors that I made for the baby shower. I was amazed at how great they turned out, especially since it seemed like everything I wanted to do, didn't work out the way I had planned.

On a Roll

Now that I've started maybe I'll be able to keep at it. I'll do my best guys, but come on you know me so no promises! Only try to be better.

This is another card design that as soon as I saw it, I had to recreate it. The cardstock is White Daisy and Lilac Mist, Patterned paper is Daydream, Pink ric-rac, and Cupcake Sprinkles (I think) is the stamp set used. All supplied used were from Close To My Heart. The only thing I didn't particulary like about this card was that is was 3x3. Most people who know me, know that I have no concept of measurements until I start working on a project. I can't believe they actually design cards that are 3x3, to me that's a gift tag, and maybe that's what this is meant for but I wanted a card. I decided next time I'll do a 4x4 or 5x5 and change the measurements of everything else.
The Halloween card is a design that I copied from the Stampendous catalog (the stamps come from that company along with the brown flock on the handle). All paper was various designs purchased at LSS (thanks Diane!) I also completed the Thanksgiving Card with products from the same co. Oops, I'll have to take another picture of that card since it's not wanting to upload.

Lepord Can't Change Their Spots

I know I always say I'm going to be a better blogger, but I just can't remember to add pictures to my blog. It's not that I'm not creating projects; I just forget to post them. Several friends have been gettin on me lately because 1) I sell Close To My Heart products now so they know I'm creating projects and not sharing and 2) Lori is teaching me how to color/shade with copics and I'm not posting what I'm learning. I am practicing Lori, I promise!!! So here are a few of what I've been working on lately. I don't think any of the projects were colored with copics though. I will also get better about writing down what products/colors I use so that i can post that also.
The card on the left is one of my favorites. I used sweet leaf cardstock (CTMH), Cherry-O patterned paper (CTMH) Colonial White ribbon (CTMH) I believe the heart was cut out using the Cricut (can't remember which cartridge), and the stamp set was A Little Buzz (CTMH).
When I saw this card I knew I had to recreate it. I fell in love with the paper right away! It was made using Colonial White cardstock; Patterned Paper is Twitterpated; Colonial White Buttons, and the image is the Many Thanks stamp set; all are Close to My Heart
